Everyone should be able to use this site, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, or a larger text size.
What we aim for
We build and test this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice that means:
- Every page and tool works with a keyboard alone, and the item in focus is always visible.
- Form fields have labels, and errors are described in words next to the field.
- Text and controls meet contrast requirements, and text can be enlarged without breaking the layout.
- Pages use real headings, lists and tables so assistive technology can read their structure.
- Animation is minimal and is turned off for visitors who ask their device to reduce motion.
If something does not work for you
Call us at 800-411-9049, any hour. Tell us which page and what went wrong. We will give you the information another way and fix the problem.
Everything on this site can also be done by phone, including asking the intake team to review what happened.
