This policy is provided under the Washington My Health My Data Act. It covers consumer health data only.
Effective October 12, 2026.
Categories of consumer health data we collect
- Information you give us about an injury, symptoms, health conditions, diagnoses, treatment or medical care, in the form, in the SI assistant, or by phone.
- The fact that you are seeking help in connection with an injury.
Our hosting service also keeps a log of page requests (the time, the page, your IP address, the address you came from and the type of browser) for 30 days, which we read only as daily totals to see which pages are used. In that same log, and only as totals by page, we count how many visits tapped a button that dials our number and how many started the form.
Why we collect it and how we use it
- To respond to your inquiry.
- To work out whether The Ledger Law Firm can help with what happened.
- To provide legal services if you become a client.
- To meet our legal and professional obligations.
Categories of sources
- You.
- A person contacting us on your behalf.
Categories of consumer health data we share
The information described above, and only as needed for the purposes listed.
Categories of third parties and affiliates we share it with
- Providers that process it for us: hosting and cloud services, the firm’s intake and case management system, telephone and messaging providers, and an email delivery service.
- Google, to measure our advertising: when a visitor who came from one of our ads sends the form, or taps a button that dials our number, Google is told that this happened. It is not told what the form said, and for a visit from Washington this site sets Google’s tag so that no email address, scrambled or otherwise, is sent with it.
- Microsoft, to measure our advertising: when a visitor who came from one of our ads sends the form, or taps a button that dials our number, Microsoft is told that this happened. It is not told what the form said and it is not sent an email address, and for a visit from Washington this site does not load Microsoft’s tag at all.
We do not share consumer health data with affiliates. We do not sell consumer health data.
